Communion and Baptism

You have reached the end of our journey for you. But the end here should only be the beginning for you!

Here at the end of the stroll you come Jesus’ final moments with all of His followers before He left Earth. He looked at them and spoke of the encouragement they needed. And then followed it up with the instruction to go!

18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of[a] all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,[b] I am with you always,[c] to the end of the age.”

And after sharing these things with the followers He ascended into heaven. And this filled them with great joy.

50 Then he led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. 51 And while he was blessing them, he left them and was carried up into heaven. 52 After worshiping him, they returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And they were continually in the temple praising God.

Jesus now lives within all of us. If we choose to accept Jesus as our personal Savior and believe that He died on the cross for our sins, was raised to new life 3 days later, now is seated at the right hand of the Father, and choose to Follow Him. Then you too can celebrate this new life with Jesus Christ. And join in the celebration of freedom that comes from choosing Jesus today.
It is simple. You must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. And that is all it takes to believe. For Jesus to come rushing in with the Holy Spirit and do a new work inside of you.
What do you choose? Do you choose life with Jesus? If yes, then tell someone about it here at this stop and they can pray with you and help you better know Jesus if you do not know what to do!

Here we have two things before you.
If you are a baptized believer in Jesus Christ then we ask you to join us in communion as we remember all that Jesus has done to bring freedom and life to all of us.

14 When the hour came, he reclined at the table, and the apostles with him. 15 Then he said to them, “I have fervently desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again[a] until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17 Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks, he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves. 18 For I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 And he took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
20 In the same way he also took the cup after supper and said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.[b] 21 But look, the hand of the one betraying me is at the table with me. 22 For the Son of Man will go away as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!”
23 So they began to argue among themselves which of them it could be who was going to do it.

If you are not a baptized believer or perhaps you would like to rededicate your life to Jesus then this Baptismal is for you. We would love to welcome you into the family of Jesus Christ by you “Confessing with your mouth, what you believe in your heart!” and then it is followed by publicly demonstrating that you have chosen to follow Jesus by being baptized in water for the forgiveness of sins! And with this the Holy Spirit will seal you and set you apart for His work!
We are no longer dead in our sin. But alive in Jesus Christ and our old selves are buried in death with Jesus and our new lives are alive in Jesus, and we are all one together with Jesus Christ!

What should we say then? Should we continue in sin so that grace may multiply? 2 Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness[a] of life. 5 For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be[b] in the likeness of his resurrection.

We are ready to baptize you and welcome you into the family!
